The Christmas Cracker

 Saturday 7 December 2024

 Sunday 8 December 2024

 10am to 4.30pm

A wide range of books, models and collectables for sale plus a display of vehicles
Christmas draws near and this is the event to bring the year to an end in a happy way with opportunities to spend your money on transport memorabilia from books to models, photos to spare parts.

Part of our collection of historic buses and coaches will again move to one side to make way for nearly a hundred stalls, stands and sellers offering everything from books about local transport to genuine historic bus ticket machines, and from photos of long-gone trams to real bus stops. An unusual shopping trip can be capped with a ride back in time, as a free heritage bus service using old double-deckers from the 1960s and 1970s will link the Museum with Manchester’s Victoria railway station throughout both days of the event.
